My uncle, Sherman Strate of Big Fork MT joined the RCAF during 1940 and flew the A.20 Boston III in 88 Squadron RAF from Attlebridge, England.
I'm sure he'd like to see a flying A.20 if one exists.
I built him a 1/48 scale Italerei model in the colours of his aircraft. I'll post a picture of the model and some of his squadron aircraft taken in 1942

I have designed a 1" = 1'-0" model of the A-20G. It is a flying model and available in kit complete with retractable landing gear. 62 3/8" wingspan.

Terry, there is an A-20 being restored by the Air Heritage Museum near Pittsburg. You should be able to Google them for info. My father and i visited there in '04 and they still had a ways to go. Those plans may prove to be very helpful to them.

The only flyable A20 is currently being made airworthy in galveston TX in preperation for a trip to austrailia. It will be the first time the aircraft has flown in 17 years but it is in excelent shape and should be flying in a couple months.

I wonder how many (if any!) are being restored. I have 17 pages of wiring diagrams, hand drawn by my father in 1942 (RAAF, New Guinea)
I wrote Florida cause it wouldnt let me write NSW Australia!
