Re: Jack Gardner above, I also had my first non-commercial jet ride in a T-33A at Maxwell AFB in 1966. I was a crew chief on T-33's at Maxwell in 1965-1966. When were you there?

I was a flt line mech on T-33's at Moody during the Korean conflict,in the ATC,later on transfered over to B-25's so that I could get on flying status ( $50.00 extra a month ) took training OJT. I liked the jets but that B-25 was a beautiful bird.

I got my first jet ride in a T-33 a long time ago @ Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, Alabama. I still like to think and talk about it. Call me if you want. Jack Gardner/(830) 997-0295

Looking for information on instructor badges in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. Also seeking photos of individuals wearing instructor badges for those periods. See links to other Air Training Command sites at the follwing: http://www.aetc.randolph.af.mil/ho/default.html
