A slight correction on 56-0001 is it was originally a F-101C that was converted to RF-101H. F-101A models converted to the recce role were designated the RF-101G. Mike Harp in the above post was a top-notch crew chief when I was in the KY ANG.

I think the title of this needs to be changed, since boone national guard center is NOT the air national guard base. There is NO museum located on boone national guard center. It is an active working secured post.

the RF-101 at the ANG base in louisville has tail # 56-001 it is a F-101C modified to an RF-101H

the rf-101c voodoo is now at the aviation museum of kentucky in lexington

There also is a RF-101 at the ANG base here in Louisville. It has tail # 56-001. It is a F-101G modified to a RF-101C. The Guard flew the VooDoos till go to the RF-4C. Both the VooDoo and Phantom are on static display.
