That's typical of Lakehurst. No surprize here.

After spending 10 days on the base and exploring, i found a total of 5 static aircraft all mentioned in the above review with also anything that i saw while i was flying around there. 08/04/2005 @ 21:17 [ref: 4311]

AS A RECENT RETIREE FROM THE NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND AT LAKEHURST I KNOW YOUR LISTING OF AVAILABLE STATIC DISPLAYS IS A LITTLE SHORT. ONLY TWO AIRCRAFT ARE LISTED FOR THE NAVAL AIR ENGINEERING STATION LAKEHURST. ACTUALLY LAKEHURST HAS FIVE STATIC DISPLAY AIRCRAFT. IN ADDITION THE TWO LISTED LAKEHURST HAS AN F-11 OUTSIDE THE FRONT GATE, AN F-4 WITH THE A-4 AND A-7 AS WELL AS AN F-14A IN FRONT OF THE ENGINEERING AND LOGISTICS BUILDINGS.. 02/23/2005 @ 13:09 [ref: 3837]
