Reviews / Comments by our visitors terry ledrew corner brook, Newfoundland | I am a producer with CBC-Radio, Canada's public
broadcaster. We are doing a series on Atlantic Ferry Command...the initiative that saw Hudson
Bombers ferried up from the U.S., through Montreal, then Gander, and on to fight the air
campaign against germany. I am seeking a woman who applied, but was turned down, for a ferrying job. I am told that actually happened, and she was refised because of her gender. I am also told she may live in New York State. If anyone has any info on this person, or her family, or if
anyone reading this knows of any woman involved at any level with Atlantic Ferry Command, I would
so appreciate a call, or an e-mail
My Ph: 709-632-1095
Thanks all!

Clark , Michigan | IWASM is a great place to visit. It is now located at Burke Lakefront Airport, Cleveland Ohio. Come to Cleveland Airshow over the Labor Day weekend and stop at IWASM; new displays, great contacts! I'm a member, but do not work there. Grins. 08/21/2001 @ 11:33 [ref: 1387] |
