I would like to know how the museum is proceeding on rebuilding the Waco CG-15 glider? Thanks 11/30/2006 @ 21:23 [ref: 5455]

The WACO museum in Troy, Ohio is worth a visit. It is a growing museum with its own flying field south of Troy. With time and money, the museum will be moved to that field. Presently, the museum is open Saturday and Sunday from May 1 to Nov. 1. Because WACO was the designer of the CG-4, CG-13 and CG-15 WWII military glider, much of the display concerns those gliders. The museum is in the process of rebuilding a CG-15A glider. The gift shop sells WACO clothing and books. 11/04/2001 @ 05:51 [ref: 1582]
