Reviews / Comments by our visitors Gary White Partington Cheshire, | The Convair 880 looks in good condition, I would love to see her fly again ( I can dream ).The jetstar is a bit weather beaten but worth a look. I spent an enjoyable hour looking around both aircraft. 12/22/2008 @ 07:27 [ref: 8581] |
Ken Neubeck , New York | I went to Graceland recently and in addition to all of the thing related to Elvis, I found both aircraft to be in excellent shape, particularly the Convair 880 aircraft. This aircraft had very little evidence of rust on the external components with the landing gears being in great shape! 10/04/2007 @ 10:24 [ref: 6364] |
Jonathan Hayes Hermitage, Tennessee | For all the King's subjects, get the Platinum Tour. Across the street from the mansion, is the museum complex, which features personal items, and Elvis' car collection. During the late 1980s, Elvis' two planes were relocated to the complex. One is a Lockheed JetStar named "Hound Dog II" (used mostly by Col. Tom Parker). The other is the "LISA MARIE," an extremely rare Convair 880 airliner--featuring a 24K Gold sink!
Thank you, thankyouverymuch. 07/12/2005 @ 16:40 [ref: 4241] |
