| Jonathan Hayes Hermitage, Tennessee |  Although she has remained a fixture in her adopted city for 50 years, the "Memphis Belle" had been on loan from the USAF Museum at Wright-Pattterson AFB. After several failed attempts to build a permanent museum in Memphis, the USAF Museum recently announced that the "Belle" would be leaving Memphis to be returned to Dayton. The "Belle" was given a fond farewell at the Mid-South Air Show, at NAS Millington in Memphis, on October 1 & 2.
