David A. Stallman Wilmington, North Carolina | Dear Folks:
I am trying to find your mailing address so I can send a brochure about my newly released book WOMEN IN THE WILD BLUE...Target Towing WASP at Camp Davis. It is a tribute to the brave young women who flew powerful military aircraft during WWII. You may want to sell it in your museum store.

Arne Weinman Spokane, Washington | The Fairchild Heritage Museum is closed. The entire collection has been transfered to the Armed Forces & Aerospace Museum, a local Spokane, WA non-profit that has raised $1 million of the $6 million needed to build a new facility to house the collection. The Armed Forces & Aerospace Museum Society also has significant other collections of pre- and post-WWI aircraft, Atlas Missile memorabilia, etc. to add to the existing collection. Join in this exciting endeavor by joining the Society. Check out our web site: armedforces-aerospacemus.org for further information and membership application. 08/29/2005 @ 01:46 [ref: 4383] |

Norm Sketers Harvest, Alabama | I have tried to open the Exhibits page but it will not open. I would like to reviev it for old times sake. I served in the USAF from Feb 54 to Apr 67 and have worked on a lot of B36's. 04/01/2002 @ 11:14 [ref: 2006] |
dave spilker Greenacres, Washington | This museum has significance for all who have lived and grown up in the shadows of the many bombers and military activities that called FAFB home. I had the privilege of taking my father to the museum and spent a amazing afternoon viewing the exhibits and chatting with him about how things were "then and now". Thanks, Fairchild, for having a museum of such high caliber. You are a valuable member of our community as well as "keeper of the flame" of our military heritage in the Inland Empire. 03/25/2002 @ 14:24 [ref: 1984] |
