CJD WANTED / REWARD!, CA | Hi I worked on the X-32,
I had a Lucite, paperweight thing with a chip or scrap from the milling of the first part of the first X-32, well about 6 mos ago I went to visit a friend at Hawthorne Northrop Grumman plant and left it for 2 mins and came back and someone had stole it!
If you know anyone who might have one to buy, sell, trade please let me know! Thanks
I collect these from other aircraft as well, and might be interested,
WANTED Lucite / Acrylic/ Perspex Paperweights
WANTED Lucite / Acrylic/ Perspex Paperweights mainly aviation related....many may say they have a “First Chip” in example “ First Chip from the milling process of the YF-23” or F-16 or something like that, many are from planes, missiles etc…
Some examples. McDonnell Douglas C-17 Production Shaving Lucite Paperweight, First F-22 Production Chip Lucite in the shape of the state of Georgia, containing production chip / shaving any project! See link for photos
Another type are made from metals, materials & alloys used in the aircraft's manufacture they have “this is a example of the aluminum alloy used in making the B-52, they are about the size of a pack of cigarettes, see link to photos
REMEMBER-I pay a finders fee; please pass this around to anyone who may be able to help… Thanks from Charles!

Bob HIll , TX | The X 35 was a far more intereting design than the X32/ I think that the cheaper X 32 was the reason for the Lockheed win (they had more F22 parts in it!) The X35 was com;letely new! 06/16/2003 @ 15:17 [ref: 6505] |
Terry Morgan Akron, OH | The first picture on this page is an illustration of the Lockheed Martin JSF X-35, not Boeing's JSF X-32. Wake up. 04/05/2002 @ 14:39 [ref: 4663] |

Career pilot Liverpool, NY | As impressive as its claimed flight characteristics are, I am doubtful that such an aircraft can be built for such a broad multirole tasking and complete all design mission scenarios as well as a dedicated, specialized aircraft. Also, the complexity of the STOVL mechanisms leaves one to wonder how it will fare in the structural abuse of sustained combat sorties [reference the much-vaunted and extremely flawed Bell MV-22]. But it is nice to see that our government is making an attempt to modernize the military, even if it is a bit misguideded. 07/15/2001 @ 09:37 [ref: 2675] |

Ronald almere, CA | i think X-32 or JSF.. it will be the best fighter
much better then the F-16,F-18 and much moreother fighters plane in the world, i liked the model .. cuz i\\\'ve never seen such this plane before .. \\\'\\\'It Will Be The Best\\\'\\\' 09/27/2000 @ 12:13 [ref: 808] |
