| Ramon Hidalgo-Acosta Killeen, TX | I crewed CH-47B while assigned to the 243rd Aviation company (ASH)Freight Train at Fort Lewis, Washington during the periods 1979 - 1983 and 1984 - 1985. I was assigned FE of Freight Train 67-18444 during both periods. My last position with the unit was Flight Platoon Sergeant. After leaving the unit I transition to the quatermaster field and PCS to Germany. I finished my army career with 23 years of service. I always recall with enjoyment my times as a CH-47 crewmember with fond memories and I am honor to have served with those who shared similar experiences while we were asigned together.
