For that person in Pointe Claire, there is now a Bolingbroke here in Montreal (St-Anne de Bellevue) which we hope to out back in the coming years.

If any documentations on the Canadian Boly feel fre to write

Thanks

pointe=claire, QC I was a pilot with 8BR Squadron on the East Coast (Sydney, N.S.), Sea Island, B.C. and Alaska. Also flew the Boly with 122C Squadron at Pat Bay, B.C.. 8BR was an anti-submarine squadron and was equiped with three variations: original Blenheim, Canadian built Bolongbrokes equipped with Bristol Mercury engines and a few with the Pratt and Whitnew Wasp
engines. (these latter did not have the performance of the original Blenheim or the Mercury engined Boly.
The aircraft, in the hands of an experienced (on the type) were a dream to fly but could be a disaster on take-off if the throttles due to carb. flooding . I had over 1000 hours
on the type and loved the aircraft despite its shortcomings.
