R.D. Wichita, KS | I have been on the lookout to purchase a T-41B (R172E) to re-furb/restore back to it's Air Force/Army original look as a tribute to my son's current active duty service in the USAF.
If anyone is aware of a suitable one that is still in reasonable condition and could be bought at a price low enough to allow me to do this, please drop me a note.

Kevin M. McGrath Wappingers Falls, NY | I am compiling a list of the current location and status of the 255 Cessna T-41B Mescaleros purchased by the Army. If anyone has photos, history and current location of S/N 67-15000 throught 67-15254, would you kindly forward that information to me at kmmcg@earthlink.net.
I am hoping to have a website established on the T-41B by summer 2009.
Thank you.

Craig Clary , CA | I just recently gained black-n-white photo copies of T-41B Flight and Maintenance Manuals and I also have old Continental Engine catalogs as well as an Overhaul Manual plus a Tires and Tubes Manual.
My best friends in Phoenix, Arizona have a 1964 Cessna 172E that was painted up as a U.S. Army T-41B and they fly this aircraft all over the place, I have always enjoyed riding in that aircraft as the Crew Chief. 12/15/2008 @ 10:44 [ref: 23247] |
David Hatcher Enterprise, AL | The museums T41 is in non display storage.
Note to James: Really, I can assure you, all parts for reciprocating engined aircraft were "divested" (disposed) of years ago. 11/28/2007 @ 05:12 [ref: 18699] |
