Hello! the yf-7 was an special proyect performed by the
Convair enterprise in the decade of the years of 1951 upto
1954.Convair only built two prototypes and were the only ones that could reach, the mach1. In other country and far
from the united states,in Russia, the design of hidroplanes
has been successful and the russians designers could built
diverse models of big bombers and transports of troops. You
can see these models and buy a book about them in the
web site www.aviapress.com
