I am unfamiliar with the Gary Sauser P-6E plans. I understand he is deceased. Are or were the plans for a full size P6-E or a reduced scale. Thank you.

Sauser Aircraft Company has been Disolved. The Hawk has been donated to the March Airforce Base Museum in California.
44 sets of plans have been sold. See builders projects at www.curtisshawkp6e.com

Just to add to what Mr. Ralston said. I also spoke with
Mrs. Sauser very recently and she stated that there have
been several offers for the rights to the work Mr. Sauser
accomplished with the P-6E. All of which have been, as she
put it, "too low". She stated that is is just better to put
the whole thing to rest. This is truly a shame for all of
us "Hawk" fans.

I just got off the phone with Mrs. Sauser and infact after his death the Co. if closed. She will not sell the plans or the rights.

I NEED PLANS FOR THIS AIRCRAFT. the Suser P6-E. I would like to hear from someone who could help me.

Thank you, Dave Ralston

I am one of the builders of mr. sausers p6e. I am interested in contacting other builders of this aircraft in the interest of sharing information on construction. I have a set of plans as well as a set of wing ribs. Since Don's death I have not heard anything further from anyone regarding plans or support for builders of the aircraft. If sauser aircraft has ceased to exist, and is no longer involved with support of builders, I might be willing to make fullsized tracings of the wing ribs for people who have the plans for the rest of the airplane. As any plans purchaser is aware, the plans are not complete unless you bought the rib patterns from SACO. Anyone interested or with information on other builders, problems, solutions, successes or completions would you please contact me, especially if you have one up and flying.
