I think this crash might be a B-18 Bolo, based on the landing gear:

I have a picture of a B 18 (#47) taken at Floyd Bennett Field by my dad in 1940. How can I send it to you?

Would sure like to get in touch with any viewers regarding my on-going project to produce a truly comprehensive history of the B-18 series. Am in particular needs of genine images of B-18B and B-18C conversions taken at the numerous operating bases on the east coast and in the Caribbean.

I was stationed in Trinidad BWI from Feb. 1941 Thru
June 1943. We had B-18's on the base used for Anti-Sub
patrol, which were later replaced by B-25's

I'm currently involved with the restoration of Bolo 39-025 at the WORM in Denver, CO. Of five known B-18s remaining, this is probably the most forlorn example of all, having been stripped to provide for other display aircraft over the years. A complete aircraft from outward appearances, this Bomber has been entirely gutted.

Committed to its eventual restoration, I'm seeking all interested parties to help support this project. Not just money(although every penny donated helps), but information, personal experiences, parts, anything related to the B-18/ Bolo/Digby goes towards promoting this long forgotten warrior.

Anything will be appreciated.
