Could someone please tell me the differences in the C-50 series of aircraft and the C-47 Skytrain?

As per the previous note, 41-7697 (VH-CDK) and 41-7698 (VHCDJ) both operated with the 21st TCS in Brisbane Australia in 1942, 41-7698 (VHCDJ) still survives today after a long civil airline service with Ansett ANA and is on display at the Australian National Aviation Museum in Melbourne Australia.
