The b&w photo on this page shows four EF-10Bs of VMCJ-3 based at MCAS El Toro, tail code "TN." The second aircraft from the top is BuNo 125850; a blurred "5850" can be seen on the tail. This is the same aircraft that now sits in the boneyard at Edwards AFB. I have a personal color photo packed away somewhere that shows 5850 on the flight line during the 1970 air show at El Toro; this was the same year that all EF-10Bs were retired from service.

First two F3D-2Q Sky Knights converted to electronic reconnaissance aircraft, with VMCJ-3 at MCAS Mojave, 1957.

I have located 2 other EF-10Bs, one at the Edwards AFB museum and the other at Quonset Air Museum. RI. I am attempting to ID all of the 35 bunos that were converted from the nightfighter configuration. Any info on this proj would be appreciated.
