A-4's and Outlaws forever... Good to see all the names popping up. Anybody know what happened to our aircraft after they shut the Squadron down (H&MS-13 OMD)? Holler back, Eddie Edmund.Baker@robins.af.mil

The last time I seen "SCREWY" was out at El Centro, Ca. when him and I were working for Lockheed Support Systems back in the late 80's. Hello to Tadder and Ron!

Mike, it's funny that you bring up those two, Larry And George. I have been trying to track down "Screw Loose" for the last couple of weeks without any luck (don't ask me why). I would love to hear his story. I spoke to Ed yesterday he's doing great. It was good to hear the Bakers voice. If I get a lead on George I'll let everyone know. Todd

Hello all, it has been a long time since I have hear many of your names. I wish that I had kept in touch with you guys. Has anyone seen or heard from Larry McKenny or George (Screwy) Lewis, what about Rusty Straughsbaugh and Skippy Nylan. I agree that we need to have a reunion it has just been way too long.

Regards to all of you and Semper Fi,

Hello all. I was assigned to MAG-13 from 1982-1986 as an ordnanceman. I worked with Ed Baker, Todd Lavell, Kevin Monroe, Martin Tse, and Don Harding just to name a few. I still talk to Todd on occasion and Martin and I exchanged the pleasure of both being the best man in our individual weddings. Martin is in Daytona Beach, FL. I have not been able to track Don down and Todd can't exactly locate him either. I have also talked to Kevin but it has been more than a year. Hey Ed. Sorry about the alarm clock episode while at Nellis. You wanted to kick my ass but then again you were and always will be an "Outlaw". Also, Ed, I have some good pictures of you and Kevin posing in your room at El Toro. Reunion sounds good. Let's work on specifics.

Hey All,
It's funny to see all these names in one place again. Ed Baker sent me the link...I've been looking for him for awhile (still owe him for 29 Palms). For those of you who were there, you should find that funny. I've been in contact with Kevin Monroe and Ron Holbrook recently. Kevin is in Kingsville??? Texas and Ron is in Greensboro NC. I'm going to send Hal the link, but Kevin did not have access the net the last time we spoke. He does have a cell, if anyone would like it give me a call @ 972-523-2094, or email me. A reunion sounds like a great idea, lets put the wheels in motion and get something set-up. Oh yeah, the platform was a good, but the people were great. Todd

Greeting to former OUTLAW, Darren Hamilton, aka... ET. Hope you and Maddog are doing well. I am hoping that eventually all OUTLAWS, will catch onto this site and maybe get together. Just a little historical note. While I was on vacation my family and I took the opportunity to visit the Lady Lex in Corpus Christi and there is a TA4-J set up as a memorial for a couple of MAG-13 pilots who still remain missing in action. What hit me the most was the call letters on the tail YU. Sound familiar? If I read the sign correctly, MAG-13 was attached to the Lexington during the Vietnam War. Prayers for the pilots and their families.

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

OUTLAWS FOREVER

Well hello to all you outlaws. It's been a long time. Myself, Don Matecun aka. Maddog and Ed Baker live near each other and I talk to ED ever once in a while. I hope everyone is doing fine. For those who don't remember I was in hydraulics with Ed and Don was a Plane Captain. I'll check back in a few days.

I was attached to OMD for OJT and my "A" school in 1988.
I remeber pilots nicknamed "ugly" and "Coyote".I Had a ton of fun surfing 5 days a week. I was a plane captain and was later assigned to VMA 133 a NAS Alemeda. Getting haircuts in the hanger from shakey jake, running 3 miles a day around the air strip, meal card, running engine up to 70% power as I jolt under the bird to check air and getting my ears knocked off my head, the shock of the loud thundering engine as I yelled "fuuuuuuuug!"
I miss the roar of the touch and goes all day and night!
