The Fairey battle was outdated by the Battle of France, and completely slaughtered by the Germans, however it was useful as a trainer and engine test bed, and provided a basis for the Fulmar and Firefly.

P.S coild anyone who knows any pusher-prop designs used in world war two get in touch.
