Served as an AZ in VAW-114 in 77 and 78. Deployed on USS Coral Sea CV-43 in 77 on Westpac. We were known as the "Hormel Hawgs". I recall that we had a visiting E-2 from the East Coast and we pulled it into the barn one night, lowered a sailor on top of the dome and placed one of our large peel off logo's right in the center top of the dome.

served in RVAW-110 from 7-77 till 4-81. Look back with fondness of the time spent with some truly remarkable people, (even the o's). am still in close touch all these years later with a (too) small handfull of them, one being my brother, with whom I got to do brother duty with, he was Maintenance Control.
Went through the striker program and ended up being an AMH and volunteered for the line div. where I made second and stayed for my whole tour.

I was stationed with VAW-111 at NAS-Miramar from 1986-1988. We were de-comissioned shortly after my leaving. I was the only HM3 ever assigned in 80's. I am a 'Plank Owner'

I was an instructor in vaw-120 in the early 80's. I was in 122,124,126 in 1984 before going to recruiting in N.J. I spent about 12 years in the e2 community. Sure do miss them.

Served with pride from 1975 through 1977. First in the RAG - RVAW-110 then transferred to VAW-111 flying off the Forrestal in Norfolk. The Seabats were decommissioned and I was farmed out to VAW-114 flying off the Coral Sea. I eventually ended up in NY and worked on the C-2/E-2 line at Grumman in Bethpage for 5 years until they closed the plants and relocated south. I have some very fond memories of time spent within these tight knit communities. If there is anyone reading this post who knows of a VAW-111 blog or web site, please pass it on to me.

I was with VAW-125 on the JFK from the second cruise the Kennedy made until shore duty in 1974 at AIMD, Norfolk. Lots of memories both on and off the ship and with the great group of guys we had in the squadron. I was IM3 and was with A-6 and EA-6B sailors.
Regards to all my fellow shipmates.
