After WWII Mr. B. H. Call, of Afton, WY, bought the manufacturing rights for the Interstate Cadet and built three or four of them. He modified it with a C-90 Continental Engine. He called it the Callair S1-A Cadet. Only one of these is still registered with the FAA and is owned by Mr. Burton Osteen of Black Mountain, NC. The N number is N2922V. It is truly a "rare bird." A wonderful airplane, it is still flying today.
Thanks,
David Parks
