My father, William E. Arrain, was deeply involved with a US Naval program, developing what was then (c1942)a small twin engined "Radio Controlled Drone". I was a small boy, and can remember being dragged all over the US as he set up sub contractors to make components. The final assembly point was DeKalb Ill. The completed plane was then shipped to a small air field in Half Moon Bay Calif., where final tests were conducted. I can't find any information on this plane. My father died several years ago, and his second wife and I never did get along. I did see a photo several years ago. It had a tricycle landing gear, fabric covered and I believe had a wood air frame. Can you help me with any information?
Thanks, Tom Arrain
