Major William J. Davis and Capt. Walter J. Hodgson piloted a Kaman H-43B Huskie rescue helicopter to 29,846 ft breaking the previous heavy lift helicopter altitude record (21, 982 ft).

I found an old model of this heli in my father's effects. He was a turbine mechanic in the Army 'back in the day'. Never remember him talking about this particular aircraft, but he may have worked on one.
The model is from a kit No. 206-200, made by the Hawk model company, Chicago 31, Illinois.
I am going to see if there is another model available for purchase.
Never saw a twin main rotor drive helicopter before, and haven't since, making this a unique and interesting piece of history!
