"Glacier Girl," sn 41-7630 retreived from the Greenland icecap where it was crash landed during Project Bolero, is located at the Lost Squadron Museum in Middlesboro, KY when it is not on tour as one of the world's six flightworthy P-38's. As a P-38F, "Glacier Girl" is presently the only complete P-38 built prior to the relocation of the intercoolers from the wing leading edge to "beards" beneath the engine nacelles which began with the P-38J.

This model of the P-38 can be flown by the player on MS CFS2. Very well detailed views in that game, and the effects rock!
