I joined VR8 as an AE striker in 1958. Worked in Heating, Ventilation, and Airconditioning. Also worked in Pre/Post dock. The R7V was a great aircraft to work on.

I had many flights in the MATS C121. Coouldn't get over the backward facing seating arrangements. Made one trip on a dependents flights. Nothing but kids and nervous mothers. It was a flight from hell. What I need is a nice photo of a MATS C121. Where can I find one find one?

Served at Hickam and on Guam 1949 to 1951 in VR8 as AE3 on R5Ds. Looking for Richard Sieg. Served with him at Hickam and Guam. He was an AE. Came back to VR8 in late sixties by then he was an officer. Warrant I think. He came from Minn.
