Al,
Thanks for the update. Is she still white and orange?
In response to you rear cockpit question, most of the panels were gray blanks with an occasional orange test piece affixed somwhere, randowmly throughout.
What training is used on her.
I miss that jet. Always served me well, excepet for her occasional, phantom code three landing gear discrepancies. I've jacked and swung gear on her atleast once a month.

By the way,if anyone who flew the 76-132 should happen to have a photo or two of the front and rear instrument panels,I would like to see them as my friend Bruce Radebaugh and myself are building a 1/32 Revell kit and 1/32 Tamiya kit of this F-15B.I mentioned earlier that I am building the Revell kit and am done with it except for painting and decalling. The Tamiya kit should look gorgeous when Bruce is done. But we need a photo of the cockpit instrument panels.I would appreciate it if anyone could E-mail me a photo. Thanks

One more thing,I plan in the near future to finish up on the 1/32 scale Revell kit of the F-15B 76-132.My friend in IPMS Bruce Radebaugh who lives in Warner Robins,Ga. is going to make the new decals that are on this beautiful bird at this time. The tail letters and numbers are WR 76-132 and has a beautiful nose art on the port side of the forward fuselage with the twin towers present with red, white and blue colors. If possible,I will provide photos later on with my e-mail address.Take care and hope this info helps.

I was told that 76-1032 left Edwards in late 2003. Apparently (besides NASA) there are no F-15s at Edwards anymore. I hear that 76-0132 is somewhere at Warner Robins in Georgia.

I was the crewchief on F-15B 76-0132 stationed at Edwards AFB, CA. during 1991-1995. Does anyone know if the the acft still at Edwards? I remember launching General Yeager out for the airshow and numerous other "special missions", mainly to attend conferences. He still flew in the front seat.

I was assigned to 76-0132 when I PCS'd to Edwards in 1998. This was the first tub I'd ever worked with and I loved it's glossy orange and white paint scheme. It made cleaning a breeze. I spent a lot of time with her and was very sad to part ways after I left the USAF. The worst part about it was that she was having a phase inspection done, so my last image of 132 was her in pieces. I've wanted to go back to Edwards to see 132 one last time, but I've heard that the F-15 "clown jets" are gone. I've also heard that the 412TS no longer has 15s, and 16s. If anyone has any info on her current resting spot, please let me know.
Thanks,
Todd

The F-15 Eagle . well lets just say awesome.. I got the chance to work on the Eagle for 15 years in the Air Force and in Civilian life, I was stationed at Luke AFB AZ. in the 555th (triplenickel) although I was a structures guy, I was cuttrained in being a crew chief and given a jet of my own ,YES an F-15B model Tail number 76-131..or 6131..she was a family model as we called the tubs(2 seaters)..in the year I had my name one her side she was an exellent aerospace vehicle...not always comming down code 1 (close enough though, I had 15 code 1s in a row with her)BUT rarely a code 3.... this 2 seater aircraft that I took care of was also (what I was told) was the first B model to win a turkey shoot competiton....it has been since 1992 since I seen that aircraft , and I always get fond memories of my time in the Air Force and working on the F-15 Eagle and my very own aircraft AF.76-131 oh yea I also got a ride.. not in mine . but a B model never the less 73-111(came back code 1 ;-)

I was stationed at Edwards AFB, CA and was assigned as ADCC on 76-0130 until I made SSgt and was then made DCC on her. Last I heard she's on a stick somewhere, if you know where, let me know. They just put 73-0114 on display at the AFFTC Museum here. I have a photo somewhere and will post it soon.
