Although this is off the subject I would really like this rare presentation model to go to someone that apreciates this plane and its background. I am listing this on e-bay as of 9-11-04. This model was given to Northrop executives at time of make of the F-5F. It was passed down through the family and given to me from my grandfather who worked at Northrop. I myself am ex-air force. I am hoping by posting this here that I am attacking this at the right angle. I am more concerened with the apreciation of the model/plane and this models paticular history. Regards.

Please note that your data on the F-5F indicates a crew of one. Although the aircraft only needs one crew member to fly the plane, it is a two-seat version most commonly used by the US Navy for training and adversary combat tactics. By just mentioning that it has "a pilot" confuses this version with the more common F-5E single-place version.

Sincerely,

Ron Lewis
