I think there is confusion here over the difference between the HRS-2 / H-19 / S-55 and the HR2S / H-37 / S-56

The S-55 used both the P&W R-1340 and the Wright R-1300. The S-56 used the P&W R-2800 only.

Huh? I doubt if any HRS-2 was ever named the "Chicaksaw," which is the U.S. Army's popular name for its H-19 helicopters (adopted only in the late 1950s long after Marine HRS and Army H-19s were in the Korean War). I also question whether the HRS-2 model had the R-1340 engine, which was certainly the powerplant for the earlier HRS-1.
