We have restored a TG-6 in Marshall,Missouri at the Nicholas-Beazley Aviation Museum. There is a chapter in Chet Peek's book about Taylorcraft about the gliders, but he had not seen one until last September when he came to Marshall.

I recently purchased a Taylorcraft DC-65, serial No. 6238. I was told that this aircraft was orignilly a Taylorcraft TG-6. This aircraft was converted to a DC-65 1 July 1953. I have all the records on this aircraft on a micro-fish. I am trying to get more history on this aircraft as a glider. I have not seen pictures of this type aircraft as a glider. Do you know how I get pictures? Hopefully pictures of this particular aircraft will mean more to me. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
