RF-4C Stories

Some RF-4C Info & Stories

Your author flew in RF-4C's for about two years in the late 1960's. It was exciting in both peace and war. I have fond recollections of being part of the program. I trained at Bergstrom AFB, Texas in '67-68 and went to Vietnam to fly as a back-seater for a year. I accumulated 168 combat missions, most were over South Vietnam but many were up North and a few over Laos and Cambodia.
